Allen M. Schiff, CPA, CFE
Allen Schiff is the managing member of Schiff & Associates, LLC (S&A). Prior to forming S&A, Allen was a partner with Smart & Associates (formerly Grabush, Newman) for 30 years and was their practice leader for dental practice management services. Allen has over 40 years of experience in the areas of dental practice management. Allen’s services include business planning to include obtaining financing, succession planning, exit strategies and long-range planning as well as Employee Compensation. Allen has assisted dentists with practice acquisitions, start-ups, operational analysis and associate contract analysis.
Allen received his BS degree in accounting from the University of Baltimore (June 1975) and is an accomplished speaker on topics such as dental practice management, transition planning, choosing a dental CPA, obtaining financing, identifying embezzlement in the workplace and business start-ups.
Allen has published numerous articles within the dental industry and can frequently be seen in Dental Economics, as he is a contributing writer to the magazine. In 1998, Allen earned the designation of Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), having the expertise to resolve allegations of fraud, obtain evidence, take statements, write reports, testify to findings and assist in the detection and prevention of fraud and white-collar crime. Recently, Allen has received the SMART CEO award 6 out of the last 7 years as one of the Top CPA’s in the State of Maryland, most recently awarded in May 2015.
Allen is the President of the Academy of Dental CPAs (www.adcpa.org). This group of very knowledgeable CPA firms across the nation specializes in practice management services to the dental industry for over 11,000 clients. He also serves on the ADCPA Executive Committee and is Chairperson of the ADCPA Marketing & New Members Committees. The ADCPA combines its outstanding resources and expertise to share information and jointly develop resources to better serve the dental community.
Allen enjoys sharing his dental practice management knowledge. He continues to present to the ADA (American Dental Association), the AGD (Academy of General Dentistry), AAPD (American Academy of Pediatric Dentists), local Mid-Atlantic societies, as well as various dental study clubs. For the last 35 years, Allen has taught at a local dental school as well as 7 other national dental schools on the subject of dental practice management. Allen is a current Board Member of the Maryland State Dental Association Foundation (MSDAF) as well as a Consultant to the ADA (September 2019). Recently, Allen has been on various ADA webinars along with various State Dental Associations webinars informing the attendees of the financial aspects of the CARES Act during the COVID-19 crisis. In April 2021, Allen was named the Best Dental Accountant in the United States by The New Dentist Magazine.
Linda Cooney, Accounting Manager
Linda Cooney is the Accounting Manager at Schiff & Associates, bringing valuable experience to the firm since 2006. With a BS degree from Salisbury University, Linda is a recognized industry professional.
Linda finds joy in her role through mentoring others and engaging with clients. Her professional yet approachable attitude, combined with prompt response times, earns her clients’ appreciation.
Outside of work, Linda enjoys outdoor activities like gardening, kayaking, and spending time at the beach and pool. Family time is also important to her, and she cherishes her home in Hereford, MD, as well as the tranquility of the Outer Banks, NC.

Becky Warburg, Senior Accountant
Becky Warburg is a Senior Accountant at Schiff and Associates, With multiple years of experience, Becky holds a BS in Economics from Towson University and is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. She takes pride in helping clients maximize their financial potential through meticulous financial preparation and tax expertise.
Known for her thorough explanations and dedication to client understanding, Becky’s clients appreciate her commitment to their financial well-being. In her personal life, she resides in Pikesville with her husband, three daughters. They enjoy spending quality time together at the library and movie theater. Becky is passionate about accounting, spreadsheets, and cooking/baking.

Jordan M. Schiff, Senior Accountant
Jordan M. Schiff is a Staff Accountant at Schiff & Associates. With a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Science in Account & Business Advisory Services from Towson University, Jordan brings a wealth of knowledge to the firm.

Lauri Sacks, Director of First Impressions
Lauri Sacks is the Director of First Impressions at Schiff & Associates LLC. With a background in Early Childhood Education, including a BS degree from Towson State University and a Master’s Equivalency in the field of education.
Lauri thrives in her role as a “people person.” She enjoys interacting with clients daily and being their initial point of contact. Assisting the Schiff Team and creating a warm, friendly, and professional environment is a source of great satisfaction for her. Outside of work, Lauri is married to her husband David and has two children. She has had a fulfilling 31-year teaching career and now spends her Sundays cheering on the Baltimore Ravens and supporting her daughter and son. Lauri loves spending time with family and friends, and various other activities such as shopping, reading, and dancing.

Grace C. Miller, Director of Communications
Grace C. Miller serves as the Director of Communications at Schiff & Associates, LLC. With a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Towson University and decades of experience, Grace brings a wealth of expertise to her role.

Mike Davis, Senior Accountant
Mike Davis is a Senior Accountant at Schiff & Associates, LLC, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and experience. Holding a B.S. degree from the University of Baltimore, Mike is a respected professional in his field. He is a Maryland Certified Public Accountant and holds a Virginia Real Estate License, demonstrating his commitment to excellence. As a member of the Suffolk Ruritans, Mike actively contributes to his community.
While his expertise in accounting is commendable, Mike finds the most satisfaction in building meaningful connections with clients. Yisroel Ickovitz, CPA, Tax Manager
